As part of the redesign the previous contents of this page have been split up as it
was all getting a bit crazy. You can now find on here my friends: everyone from ex's to drinking buddies,
individuals I have met off the net to people I bump into clubbing. The common thread is that I've met and spoken
to all. Should this page grow too much again I'll probably refine this definition further.

Jon Bailey
I've known Jon for something like two years and we've only managed to meet up a handful of times - it seems I've
finally found someone with a diary that can compare to mine *grin* His site is a bit of an institution, but that's the
other one (not the one I link to from here). We share a profession in common ... well nearly... and he lives just down
the road from me in Saff London ;-)

Raj Chandarana
Cabinet member of Croydon Council with responsibility for Leisure Services or whatever his title is today (basically the big big boss in one of my former jobs).
Me going to lunch/drinking/talking with him (a Councillor) caused everyone a bit of a headache. I taught him how to design
a Web page so blame me if things go wrong. A cool guy who I still meet reguarly for our now legendary
lunch networking sessions.

Stuii Ford
One of the notorious Aberystwyth bunch who had a remarkably short stint in Brighton during
1999. Stuii has an above interest in cars (from what I recall) but we forgive him for that *grin*

Dave G
Another Net person - anyone noticing a trend here? One of these days Dave and I are going to make it to the long promised
Popstarz clubbing evening but in the meantime Dave makes a mean shopping partner and a good person to chat to.

Mike Hedger
Another exile from Aberstwyth, except Mike has since been enjoying his freedom in Gosport (lucky him!).
He is one of the few people I met during my Uni days to have written a bloody web site! Between us we seem
to be having an ongoing competition as to who can have the worst love life. Word of warning: Don't call him
blonde, although he is ... physically and mentally he he.

Dominic Hunt
This is another Internet person I met during 1999 who has proven to be rather cool and cute! His only
downfall perhaps is that he lives in deepest darkest Aldershot, but I guess someone has to. If he's still
got it there, Dom thinks the Disney music on his site is butch, so humour him okay?

Iain
Unlike me Iain manages to update his site reguarly via his daily blog. He's also from Streatham Common and we have
a habit of bumping into each other at Rail Stations. Knows how to throw a damn good party (army dress optional)
with his ahem, straight flatmate.

Justin Levett-Yeats
Justin is one of those people that I knew years ago, we met while I was at Brighton Uni and he was at Kingston, which
just goes to prove NUS did occasionally do something positive. Again proving the "small world" theory of the Internet
I bumped into someone online in 1999 who knew Justin's whereabouts... although I had described him as the person I
least expected to have an email account, little realising that he now works in IT - oops.

Philip Lewis
Phil is another Internet person I met during 1999, he works in radio (how
many media luvvies do I know now?) in London. Which has to be a bit cool, let's face it - and he has
met (amongst others) Lulu - okay so I was impressed.

Mark B
Mark is someone I've been chatting to for a while and when I bumped into him in in Islington in a pub, sadly
I didn't recongise him... and I have to confess that was partly to do with him having such a crap pic on his profile. This one's a lot
better and closer to the real thing - and he's off to a pretty good start with his site as well :-)

Marcus McCollum
If I were to sum up Marcus it would have to be "Mad, Irish, blonde, boyband fan".
He has a love of Boy bands to rival my own - and an international jet set diary to compete with the best of
them.

David Overkamp
David is the power (?) behind Sports and
Shorts and also has more sports kit than possibly anyone else I know. Spot where the 'surname' comes from and show
David your knees if you ever meet him, he's got a bit of a thing for them you see.

Simon Poole
Simon has been recommended by those people at Boyz and certainly seems to be getting
enough hits. Forever changing the look of the site and what's on there - definately a place to visit
reguarly - especially the games room.

Scott Remnant
Scott gets two awards from me: (1) The person I know most likely to talk techie at the strangest
moment and (2) The individual I am most likely to empty a bottle of mineral water over >:-)

Jon Renyard
Jon is one kewl blokey who always makes time for answering my stupid
"I should know this but ... " style of questions. As such we forgive him for the musical and sporting tastes (slightly
reprieved for introducing me to Horse racing though). Sign his guestbook when you visit!

Rob
Rob is yet another Sports and
Shorts'er and is also responsible for some pics of me. He's a great guy and his trademark "subtle
orange" wall has appeared in photos of all the great kit guys out there...

Mark Rollings
Mark runs another one of those online sites that is an institution in itself. He's cute (I can say
that properly now since I met him in late 2000) with an equally cool site - look and learn people.

David Skinner
David is a fellow alum of the University of Brighton who like me survived the Faculty of IT and
has since also drifted to London. He's a bit of a party animal (not a bad thing), but I still remember his
performance at Revenge one evening *grin*.

Duncan Strivens
Duncan is a fellow Adidas obsessive and probably could even pick me at the post to claim that title *grin* Somone I've
been chatting to online for a while but we finally met up towards the end of 2000 when I'd finally moved up to London.

Ben Whitehouse
Ben is mad. I think everyone (including him) would agree with me on that score.
He's survived his parents, Kent and even a lesson from me in the art of shopping *grin*
The prospect of him studying in London has the capital (and its shops, bars and clubs)
on red alert.
