Hmmm.. now what to put here? I'm not gonna put loads about my family because
(a) they're not really net savvy (b) this site is about me so I'm not gonna let them in the limelight and
(c) lets face it there are a few Net weirdos out there and I don't wanna expose my family to them wholesale.
Okay well there's my Mum and Dad first of all - both very cool people who would win anyone's parents of the
year award. They get along famously with all my friends, and sometimes even get more attached to my partners
than I sadly do. They live like most of my family in the wonderful seaside town of Brighton, although it's only my
Mum who's from the area originally. My Dad can fix absolutely anything so
is completely unlike me (the son who can't even wire a three pin plug!) and my Mum can whip up a tax return or other
financial document in no time - she's a star (who I'm hoping will help me decorate my flat if I ever get a mortgage).
My parents met by working at ITT Creed in Hollingbury which later became STC before becoming demolished and
transforming into Asda. No my parents don't work there but can be found shopping and drinking coffee reguarly! Mum
has just started a full-time jobs playing with moving figures around a balance sheet and is really getting to grips
with computers and even the Internet. Dad works in Crawley for an Anglo-American company which I can't mention.
Anyhow there lives were interupted by the emergence of their first kid (me!!!) in 1975 for which my Mum sacrificied
her career in Banking. They decided they liked the idea of young sprogs so much they had two more kids Shelley (1977)
and Sindy (1979) .. eventually deciding to compromise on three.
Sorry the pic of Okay, suppose I should start on Shelley first being the eldest of the two - she takes after my Dad whereas
I think I take after my Mum. Good at Sport and practical subjects (which I wasn't) Shell was unlucky enough to have
a large number of teachers say to her "Oh you're Spencer's sister" whenever she joined a school. She's carved a
niche for herself though 'cause she became a runner-up in the Trainee of the Year award set up by Sussex Enterprise
in becoming a qualified Childrens Supervisor/Nanny whatsit thing (see I told you I wasn't the practical sort!!).
She's beaten me to getting a place of her own with her boyf Jason. She has a thing for Winnie the Pooh and cars.
If Shelley is like my Dad and I am like my Mum Sindy is the hybrid of the two. Working for a major
restaurant chain she's the other family member to not currently reside in Brighton living further down the coast.
She has an ability to shop
that rivals my own, and an unmatched ability that no matter how much money she owe's you by the time she has
finished you always owe her something (ask my Mum). There are
two guaranteed things about Sindy - whenever you finally catch up with her she is always just about to call you
and secondly, that she always tells people about how when she was newly born me and Shelley tried to kill her
by feeding her with Dolly Mixtures.
I'm gonna leave it there for now so people can let me know what they think of the page - do you want to
know more details or maybe meet some other members of my family.
