Kinda weird few days.. lyrics of the moment for a nasty while but the news today that it looks like Stephen Gately
has parted company with his record label, Polydor, kinda changed that. Oh and there's a funky version of it on the CD I've
been playing to death at work the past week or so *grin*
The task of dragging Merton's Web site into this century is nearly over, but of course that's when the fun starts -
Len's had to put up with my demands for style sheets and server includes for the past two days.. luckily in a week or so
it will be all over... well .. it will be live (ish) and just need lots of new content and services adding, he he.
There's also been (thankfully) a reasonable amount of playing hard including the Stonewall FC Annual Dinner
which was kinda weird (I was in a suit for a very rare occasion) but also got to meet Ivan Massow. One word - phwoar ;-)
Shame he was in plaster .. and they've got a few cute footballers as well... Neil Fyfield if you are reading can I just
say *slurp* Okay tarting
over...
I've also met three really kewl guys recently (you know who you are) who as well as being fun to be with can actually hold
a decent conversation (even if half of it is me wittling on) without acting like my mother or a social worker. And that's a kewl
thing. And a pleasant change from some of the lectures I've taken recently *sigh* why does everyone think I need mothering?
Oh and if I wasn't bad enough I have a new toy to
play with *evil grin*.
