Sunday 30th January 2000, 5.35pm
Well it has certainly been one of those weekends… if the week at work wasn’t enough then there was the all day staff meeting on
Saturday followed by a long train journey to Worcester on Sunday only to be dumped within a couple of hours of arriving. As a friend
pointed out to me this is gonna mean several web pages will need a swift update. It is nice to see that at times when I rely on my friends
for help and support they focus on the practical.
My first depressing diary entry since this started (I think), which is a bit of a shame really as otherwise today has actually been quite
a good day. I seem to have made an apparent decision about living arrangements (as much as I will ever make them) and some more thoughts
about that thing called work. All a bit eclipsed by the events of the last couple of hours. Time to re-think my next couple of days worth
arrangements me thinks, and what a wonderful time not to have the numbers of people I know in Birmingham on me *sigh*
At least this means I should have more time to work on the Web pages and be a little less familiar with the UK train network although as
another friend pointed out I could have a better journey back to London/Brighton. Me? Outrageous? Never!
