Well it's been a while innit? I am never moving again and NTL are the spawn of Satan it is official. I moved back in September
and like five months later they still haven't managed to run the cable into the house which means we have a telephone but
more importantly some Internet access... I tell you I've gone through withdrawl symptoms. Well the news is that the work
in the street which would enable them to put the cable in was due to be done last week so in anticipation of things finally
being sorted I'm trying to answer a few of those outstanding emails (there's enough of them after all) and thought I should
at least do a diary entry or too.
It's interesting that at least some of the emails have been speculating why there's been so little updates in this time
('cause after all I have little way of telling people without me having home Internet access). Well moving is never easy,
there was the business around Adam's death, work has been frantically busy and of
course you may have picked up from some of my diary entries that I've got a very special man in my life.
Equally the last few months feel a little bit like I've been in suspended animation because when anyone says what have
you been up to I can barely answer... it's not that I've become a hermit I think it's just my brain being very worn at the
moment. Which is one of the reasons for the lyric of the moment - lets leave aside arguments of whether it's a good cover
or not or indeed how long Allstars (an unlikely name if there ever was one)... and look at the lyrics throwaway pop that
could have almost been written at a party under the influence of various substances in one of those games where you write
one line of a story and then pass it onto the next person who writes the following line and so on. Go on check them out
(below) if you don't believe me.
Oh and Darius was eliminated last night so I'm pretty
gutted. But I did manage to see the second series of Queer As Folk which is a lot better than the first one which I
absolutely hated. Vince is still Vince (awwww....), Stuart has doubled the number of brain cells and is apparently developing
some sense of responsibility and Nathan is still a twat who should have run off to Blackpool
instead of London and got run over by a tram (aka Alan Bradley, Coronation Street). Classic line was "Piss off Anakin
Skywalker" *grin*.
Lyrics of the moment:
Your world is turning from night to day
